Herbert Hoover puts its undefeated mark on the line at home Friday night against Oak Hill, while Scott, Sherman and Huntington all go on the road in search of state semifinal berths.
Ironton, Raceland and Belfry are both already there. They play Friday night with a trip to the fabled carpet on the line.

Herbert Hoover takes a 42-7 halftime lead into the locker room
Herbert Hoover scored four first quarter touchdowns then added two more in the third quarter to take a 42-7 lead over Oak Hill at halftime. Dane Hatfield had two rushing TDs in the first quarter, Blake Fisher added a TD run and a punt return for a score. Fisher scored on a 13-yard run in the second quarter and Hatfield connected on a 17-yard pass to Sam Kee to set the score at the break. Oak Hill added a TD in the second quarter on a pass from Devin Richardson to Carson Treadway.
Wahama extends the lead to 35-0
Connor Lambert races 12 yards around left end for a touchdown. Wyatt Harris adds the extra point. White Falcons led Sherman 35-0 with 1:40 left in the first half.

Herbert Hoover off to a fast start against Oak Hill
A 1-yard run by Dane Hatfield put the Huskies ahead 7-0 to cap their first drive of the game. Oak Hill attempting a punt had it blocked by Hoover's Ethan Patrick, who recovered the block at the Red Devils' 5-yard-line. Hatfield scored on the next play to make it 14-0 at the 5:42 mark of the first quarter.
Wahama jumps to a 14-0 lead over Sherman
Trace Simpkins skirts right end for a 2-yard touchdown. Wyatt Harris kicks the extra point. The score was set up by a negative-2-yard punt. After a Christian Evans interception, Simpkins runs around left end for a TD. Harris again boots the point-after. White Falcons lead the Tide 14-0 at 7:20 of the first quarter.
