PRINCETON -- Chance Barker found Wyatt Cline for a 30-yard touchdown pass with just under five minutes remaining to lift No. 5 Princeton over 13th-seeded Parkersburg 41-37 in the Class AAA quarterfinals on Friday night in Princeton.
Princeton (11-1) advances to next week's semifinals, in which it will host No. 8-seed Bridgeport. The Indians took down top-seeded Cabell Midland 41-21.
Parkersburg finishes the year at 7-5.
Barker finished the evening completing 20 of 26 passes for 241 yards and two TDs, both coming in the final quarter. He also ran for 33 yards and another score on 10 totes.
The Tigers held a 21-16 lead at halftime, but Parkersburg's David Parsons threw TD passes of 36 and 21 yards in the third quarter and Sylas Cheuvront scored on a 4-yard run to open the fourth to give the Big Reds a 37-28 edge with just under 12 minutes remaining.
The Tigers scored on the ensuing possession, when Barker hit Michael Diacomo for an 8-yard scoring strike, setting up what proved to be the game-winning drive for Princeton five minutes later.
Marquel Lowe ran for 170 yards and a TD on 22 carries for the Tigers and Dominick Collins caught nine passes for 124 yards and a score. Collins also ran for a 7-yard TD and returned a kickoff 99 yards for another score.
For Parkersburg, Parsons completed 13 of 29 passes for 223 yards and three scores and Jason Williams rushed for 87 yards and a TD on 16 touches.
Both teams racked up more than 400 yards of total offense, with Princeton outgaining the Big Reds 451 to 405.
