The 31st Annual Groundhog Breakfast and Economic Forecast is scheduled for 7:30 to 9:15 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 2, at the Holiday Inn and Suites ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä West in South ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä.

Hosted by the South ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä Chamber of Commerce, the yearly event will include the following speakers: South ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä Mayor Frank A. Mullens Jr.; Mark Nestlen, Vice President of Business Development and Strategy, GreenPower Motor Company; Julie Norman, executive director, Region III Workforce Development Board of Kanawha County; Jim Kaufman, West Virginia Hospital Association president and CEO; Margaret °¿â€™N±ð²¹±ô, president and CPO of the United Way of Central West Virginia; and Robert C. Byrd Institute Director of Communications Mike Friel.
