A donkey, a wallaby and sheep, oh my — these creatures were just a few of the many animals featured in the Great American Petting Farm that's traveling through West Virginia this month.Â
On Monday, visitors to the Elkview Supermarket interacted with a llama, a cow, a pot-bellied pig and about a dozen goats.
"A lot of these kids don't see and experience livestock animals," Petting Farm manager Sherry Gavlik said. "So, it's a special moment for them to come every year to see the Great American Petting Farm."

This is the 34th year the petting farm, which is based in Stephenville, Texas, has come to West Virginia, Gavlik said.
