One lane remains open, but traffic is moving slowly.
A large pothole affecting both the left and center lanes on the Fort Hill Bridge opened overnight on Wednesday, according to a news release from the West Virginia Department of Transportation. Both lanes are closed for repairs between the Virginia Street on ramp and Oakwood Road off ramp. Additionally, the Oakwood Road off ramp is closed.
All lanes are expected to reopen by 6 p.m. Friday.
