Atlantic League baseball: Lebron, Dirty Birds stymie York in series opener

Lebron threw 92 pitches, 63 of them for strikes, in shutting down the Revolution (11-11 second half, 50-35 overall) offense. He allowed one earned run and issued one walk.

Alsander Womack had two hits for ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä (10-12 second half, 40-45 overall). Keon Barnum homered for the Dirty Birds’ lone RBI.

Kevin Miranda took the decision for York. He allowed two runs, one earned, on eight hits in 4 2/3 frames. He fanned three Dirty Birds and walked none.

The rematch of last season’s league championship series continues on Saturday night.
