Rep. Carol Miller at EPA headquarters

At a June 11, 2025 news conference at EPA headquarters in Washington, U.S. Rep. Carol Miller, R-W.Va., speaks in support of a U.S. Environmental Protection Agency proposal to repeal regulations for power plants.

Rep. Carol Miller, R-W.Va., has built a massive campaign fundraising advantage in her bid for a fifth term in the U.S. House of Representatives, driven by contributions from political action committees for health care and fossil fuel energy industry groups.

Miller’s campaign committee, Carol for Congress, reported securing more than $1.38 million in net contributions this cycle through March 31, ending last month with $729,957 in cash on hand as she vies to keep representing West Virginia’s 1st Congressional District.
