Free sports physicals, immunizations available at ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä mall Saturday

Physicals are required for all students participating in band and school sports.

Physicals will be given by the KCHD’s health officer with the assistance of volunteers from University of ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä, West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine, ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä Area Medical Center Institute for Academic Medicine and Marshall University.

School immunizations not covered by insurance will be administered for free. Parents are asked to bring their child’s insurance card for vaccines not covered by insurance. Call 304-348-8080 for more information on immunizations.

College students can also receive a Meningococcal B immunization.

Free parking will be available at the health department, 108 Lee St. East.
