Update: Motorcyclist IDed in fatal Interstate 64 crash near South ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä

The incident was reported just before 8:15 p.m. in the eastbound lanes between mile markers 54 and 55, just east of the MacCorkle Avenue exit.

Gordon said the only vehicles involved were the motorcycle and a truck hauling a trailer.

Gordon confirmed that the Kanawha County Sheriff’s Office conducted an accident reconstruction and that an investigation is ongoing. No charges have been filed, but Gordon said charges could be possible, pending the outcome of the investigation.
