LETTER: Trump is a danger; only right-wing Fox viewers support him

But the key is what they are watching day after day. If they are only watching Fox and other right-wing channels, it’s propaganda and lies, not facts. I grew up on Walter Cronkite and Huntley-Brinkley. Fox lets its bigoted base dictate its viewpoints.

The right wing uses Trump, who is malleable and shallow, to get across its right-wing agenda. Mother Jones and other magazines have pointed out the danger of Fox “News.� Maybe they are so naive that they think presidents don’t lie. We watched Nixon, Clinton and George W. Bush lie. The base seems to be afraid of diversity, which is here to stay.

The danger is that Trump never understood how to be president. He ran to promote his brand and lost the popular vote the first time. He expected loyalty over the law and certainly showed no understanding of international relations.

His character promotes great danger, lacking respect toward injured veterans and being a pathological liar, and now being caught in numerous frauds.

Since he favors an autocratic form of government, our way of life is in great danger.
