Sissonville and South ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä have had their big moment. Who’s next?
Welcome back to “At the Game,†a feature we're producing on high school football game nights to keep readers in the loop of what's going on across the area, in as close to real time as we can manage.
The Black Eagles earned their first win in three seasons last Friday with a 27-23 walkoff decision at Ripley. The Indians joined South ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä in celebration on Thursday night, topping Tolsia 20-19 for their first victory since the 2022 season finale.
Hurricane, Huntington, Herbert Hoover, Cabell Midland and Tug Valley aren't on droughts between wins of nearly that length, but being 0-1 probably sticks in their respective craws about as badly, given the recent success each has enjoyed.
Each has a chance to get off the schneid on Friday night, and HD Media will be there for all of them.
