Lexington thumps West Virginia Power, 9-0

Davila walked two on his way to his eighth win of the season, and Nolan Watson gave up just one hit and struck out two in three innings of relief for the Legends.

Lexington plated a run in the second to take a 1-0 lead, and piled on eight runs over the sixth, seventh and eighth innings to seal the victory.

Angelo Castellano went 3 for 4 with a home run and four RBIs and Michael Gigliotti and Vance Vizcaino each tallied three hits for the Legends.

Eduardo Vera took the loss for the Power (28-25 second half), allowing five runs on nine hits. He struck out eight in six innings.

West Virginia starts a four-game series at the Greenville Drive Friday in Greenville, South Carolina. Mike Wallace will start for the Power, while the Drive will counter with Jhonathan Diaz. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m.
