The West Virginia Power won their third straight game to get back to .500 on the season with a 6-3 road win over the Columbia Fireflies on Sunday.
The win closes out a four-game set with the Fireflies, in which the Power took three of four.
Trae Arbet led the Power (21-21) offensively as he finished 3 for 4 with two RBIs and a run scored. Catcher Brent Gibbs also recorded a pair of RBIs in the win, as he finished 2 for 3.
Dylan Prohoroff (1-1) came on in relief of Power starter Matt Anderson to pick up the win. Prohoroff allowed one run over three innings, allowing four hits and striking out one.
Prohoroff’s lone earned run came off the bat of former college football star Tim Tebow, who hit a solo home run in the third inning, his third of the year.
The Power now head to Augusta for a three-game set against the GreenJackets (13-28), before returning home to Appalachian Power Park for a four-game series against Hagerstown, beginning Thursday May 25.
