We're halfway through August and students in Kanawha County return to school Friday, but Summerfest continues through Saturday at the Mound, with kids events, festival food, music beginning at 6 p.m. nightly, a drone show, fireworks and more. Find complete information at bit.ly/2025Summerfest.

8 a.m.: Car Show on D Street
10 a.m.: Food vendors, free kids zone
5 p.m.: Free face painting and snow cones
6 p.m.: Non-Friction
8 p.m.: Rick K. Road Trip
10 p.m.: Fireworks
The weather looks good for Summerfest. Expect clear skies Friday evening with a low in the 60s, according to the National Weather Service in ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä. Saturday will be sunny with a high in the 90s and clear conditions Saturday evening with a low in the 70s.
