Kanawha Valley Senior Services has announced the agency has farmers market vouchers available this month for qualifying county residents ages 60 and older.
One $30 coupon book of vouchers is available per household. Individuals must present valid photo identification. Vouchers may be obtained for up to three seniors, but valid photo identification, phone numbers, addresses, income, and a signed note from each recipient granting permission to accept the vouchers for him or her must be presented for each senior. The following total-household income guidelines must be met to qualify: one person, $2,096 per month or $25,142 per year, or two people, $2,823 per month or $33,874 per year.

9-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 10, Hansford Senior Center, 500 Washington Ave., St. Albans
9-11:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, Elk River Community Center, 902 Main St., Elkview
10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 17, and Thursday, Aug. 18: Capitol Market, 800 Smith St., ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä
9-11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 23: Dunbar Senior Center, 210 12th St., Dunbar
9-11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 24: Clendenin Senior Center, 4 First St., Clendenin
1:30-4 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 25: South ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä Recreation Center, 601 Jefferson Road, South ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä
