BARBOURSVILLE— Dave & Buster’s opened to the public Monday morning with a grand opening and ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Dave Willey, general manager of the Barboursville arcade and restaurant said the first 100 people who came to Monday’s grand opening received free gameplay for the entire day.
Willey said while there are about 150 Dave & Buster’s locations in the nation, the new Huntington Mall location will be one of the company’s first to open its “Store of the Future,†where the floor and walls are all interactive.
The 25,000-square-foot space includes more than 100 arcade games, high-tech darts bays and social shuffleboard bays, a chef-crafted food menu, drinks and a sports bar featuring a 40-foot, high-definition television screen.
