Diversified Energy Co., in partnership with Gold & Blue Enterprises and members of the West Virginia University women's soccer team, held its fifth annual youth soccer camp July 13 at Herbert Hoover High School in Elkview. The free camp welcomed 100 girls from kindergarten through eighth grade, who focused on skill and team building while learning directly from WVU players.

“It's always special to connect with young Mountaineer fans and give them a chance to spend the day with our teams,†said Abbey Olexa, a WVU women's soccer student-athlete. “Seeing their smiles and enthusiasm reminds us how important these opportunities are.â€
In addition to sponsoring the camp, Diversified Energy employees were on-site at the camp to help facilitate the event, as well as provide cooling and hydration stations to ensure camp participants were safe in the summer heat.
The event marks an ongoing collaboration between Diversified Energy and Gold & Blue Enterprises to host free sports clinics for local youth across the region.
