A body was discovered near the 1200 block of MacCorkle Avenue SE, in ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä on Tuesday, July 1, 2025.

The body of a decomposed man found along MacCorkle Avenue in ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä Tuesday afternoon has been identified.

Joshua C. Hutton, 48, of Long Beach, California, was recovered from a culvert near the 1200 block of MacCorkle Avenue, ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä Police Lt. Tony Hazelett said Thursday morning in a news release. The body was sent to the West Virginia Office of the Medical Examiner for autopsy, Hazelett said.
