ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä Police Department officers conduct a DUI and child safety seat check along MacCorkle Avenue just east of Kanawha Turnpike in ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä on June 17, 2025.

The ÂÒÂ×ÄÚÉä Police Department will conduct a seat belt and child seat safety checkpoint Friday in Kanawha City.

In conjunction with the Governor’s Highway Safety Program and the statewide Click It or Ticket campaign, the checkpoint will be conducted from 3-8 p.m. in the area of Chesterfield Avenue and Chappell Road.
