LETTER: Public seems fed up with Trump's arrogant ways

If you remember, he made bold and striking promises during his campaign in order to win the election.

Of particular note was a brash promise to end Russia's war against Ukraine on his first day in office. Well, we know how that went.

Next, he promised to quickly end Israel's assault on the people in the Gaza Strip. A few hundred thousand injuries and deaths later, a ceasefire was finally achieved in that fiasco.

Now, it is no secret, Trump will make brash, unfulfilled promises, but, at some point, even his most loyal supporters should say "Enough!" They won't.

There does appear to be a light at the end of the tunnel. The general public seems to be fed up with his self-centered approach as president and is intent on sending new people to Congress; people who will stand up to his arrogant ways and bring our nation back to respectability and responsibility.
